Commercial Makers are responsible for their own business transactions - whether it be via cash, credit card, barter, or some other means. There is a fee of €150 to sell or promote at Maker Faire as a Commercial Maker. The fee will be invoiced in advance and payable prior to receiving your Maker credentials.

To ensure you have adequate power onsite, it's essential we know in advance the specific amount you need. To find the total amperage you require, find the amperage listed on the back of each piece of equipment you plan to use onsite. Then, add up the amps and round up to the closest amperage below.

Compensation Request
Our performance budget is extremely limited as Maker Faire is not a music festival. Maker Faire provides publicity, large crowds and excellent opportunities for networking and just having fun. We cannot give you what you might normally make in a club or music festival, but we may be able to help defray some of your costs with a small stipend for your performance. Below, please let us know what kind of compensation you would like to receive for playing the event.

Participation Agreement: Release and Consent
General Terms and Conditions for Exhibitors
Maker Faire Malta (hereinafter referred to as "organizer") as the organizer of Maker Faire Malta from 27th to 29th March, 2020 in the MFCC (hereinafter referred to as "Maker Faire") allows the above-mentioned person or legal person (hereinafter referred to as "participant") to participate in the Maker Faire.
Participation is only possible after successful admission to the Maker Faire by the organizer. The declaration of registration is binding. The participant is only admitted to the Maker Faire with written (email) confirmation from the organizer. The admission is only valid for the registered persons or the registered company with the registered products/services. Later changes are only possible with the written consent of the organizer. The participant accepts to exhibit the pre-registered products during the entire duration of the event and to keep his booked stand constantly occupied. By registering, the participant confirms that they have read and understood the conditions for participation, the Maker Manual (to follow after the registration deadline) and all other necessary provisions of Maker Faire, and declares their consent to this by submitting the registration declaration. If the participant is a legal person, the participant is guaranteed to be authorized to do so.
Liability The participant is responsible for his material and/or presentation and/or other presentation ("exhibition") and participates in the Maker Faire at his own risk. The participant is liable towards the organizer, the visitors of the Maker Faire and/or third parties for his exhibition according to the legal regulations. The participant must obtain all necessary official or other permits for his exhibition. The participant assures to be in possession of all necessary usage rights should third party rights be affected by his exhibition. The participant will release the organizer from any claims by third parties in this regard. The organizer only accepts liability towards the participant for damages which are due to a grossly negligent or deliberate breach of duty by the organizer itself. The liability for damage due to injury to life, limb loss or health remains unaffected.
The organizer is entitled to unilaterally and without notice to exclude the participant from the Maker Faire if the participant violates the conditions listed here and/or the conditions of the Maker Manual. In particular, if the participant offers his products to visitors and/or third parties for sale without prior registration with the organizer. In addition, the organizer is entitled to make changes to the Maker Faire or to cancel or cancel the Maker Faire in the event of force majeure or due to official orders or security reasons. In these cases, the organizer is not obliged to pay compensation to the participant.
The participant agrees to the free recording, capture, and use of sound, video and/or image during the Maker Faire, and its use on the part of the organizer for advertising purposes and/or editorial reporting in the media belonging to the organizer. The participant waives the right to assert claims based on his personal right, which could arise from the use of the sound, video and/or image recordings. The participant also agrees that the organizer will forward the audio, video and/or image recordings to the operators of the event locations after they have been viewed and selected for the purpose of their own advertising measures there. The participant also allows the use of his/her name to be approved by the organizer for advertising purposes and/or editorial reporting ("Meet the Makers").
The participant confirms to be 18 years old or older. If the participant has not yet reached the age of 18, he must add corresponding written permission to participate in the Maker Faire of his parents or legal guardians to this condition of participation. The personal registration data of the participants will only be used for the implementation and planning of the Maker Faire. Disclosure to third parties does not occur. The place of jurisdiction is Malta. This agreement will fall under the laws of Malta.
